ME 109 crash landing in Luxembourg

Hello from Luxembourg,

I have a picture of a Me 109 that made a belly landing here in Luxembourg. Unfortunately the picture is not good quality as it was taken secretly. But you can see a black nine on the fuselage and a black bar behind the Balkenkreuz. Period was february 1944. The plane bellied in near the villages of Kehlen and Olm here in Luxembourg. The picture is added. Many thanks in advance for some probable help.

John from Luxembourg

John: Cannot help with this but hope you are recovering from your 'incident'. Adj Chef Mantz passed me the details which is causing some amusement at your expense!

Re: ME 109 crash landing in Luxembourg

Dear Chris,

Thank you for your reply. I was really not lucky on my "Fu...." incident. I will be operated 13th october and as the doctor says 6 to 8 weeks recovery. That's dramatic for me especially as an PT instructor. I was just working on my bleck belt in Ju Jitsu so for this year I can hang up with close combat. I will have now some time to continue my researches about crashed aircraft here in Luxembourg.

Yours sincerely

John
