460th BG - Two Events in 1944

Hello,
Seeking details of two events that involved a/c of the 460th BG.

First one -
14th June 1944
762nd BS
Mission 46 - Petfurdo Oil Plant, Hungary.
MACR 6303
Pilot: 2Lt. Benjamin F. Crawford - O- 802069

The Radio Man T/Sgt. David A. Walsh - 11098594 bailed out, becoming a POW at Stalag Lift 4.

Second one -
10th October 1944
762nd BS
Mission 107
Plave/Susegana Highway Bridge, Italy
MACR 9044
Pilot: Captain Harlan R. Logan, O-789728.

Two crew bailed out, they were -

Navigator: 2Lt. Wesley M. Olson - O-2056632 of Wisconsin
And
Ast Eng/Nose Gunner: Cpl. Harold H. Ebe - 36860248 of Michigan.
Both remain MIA and are remembered on the Tablets of the Missing, Florence American Cemetery, Impruneta, Italy.

Details of these losses are welcome as would be the a/c serial numbers which are not in the MACR's.

Many thanks
Alex

Alex, I assume you have seen MACR 6303 for the loss of Walsh. It start here for those with fold3 access. No real infomation other than Walsh bailed out after the plane hit some prop wash during the bomb run. The pilot was Benjamin F Crawford, 762nd BS.

However, I wonder if you (or any of the members) have seen this: http://www.b-24combatmissions1944.com/

This was produced by Benjamin F Crawford. His plane was apparently White M, i.e. "White Mike"", serial number ??.

MACR 9044 for Olson and Ebe (pilot Logan) starts here: https://www.fold3.com/image/28676584

Again no real info other than what you have stated.

Hello Rolland,
Many thanks for the responce.
The a/c name is in the "B24 Nose Art Name Directory" but again, sadly no serial number is given.
Those discs look inviting though, thanks . Don't suppose you have them ?

Alex, Rolland,

Interestingly a website of another BG (see http://464th.jkhathaway.org/flakmacr.htm ) also refers to a "White M", but not as nickname for a B-24, but as Recall Letter...
Scroll down to MACR 5415 (41-29412).

Regards,

Leendert

Hello Leendert,
Thank you, it makes sence.
Squadron colour (?) -White, A/c in Squadron Letter "M".
So White M - "White Mike".
