PHOTO OF MY FATHER, HAUPTMANN HELMUT BLANK
I'm hoping someone can help me find a photo of my father, Hauptmann Helmut E. Blank. On 2/1/1945 he was Company Commander of 10. Schwere Flugmeldeleit-Kompanie/Luftnachrichten-Rgt.238. Feldpost No. L33706. This was a large enemy aircraft reporting center, located at Holzleiten near Voecklabruck in Niederoesterreich. Code designation "Holzwurm." Using radar, it located and reported on incoming enemy bomber formations, mainly coming from Italy. It was under the control of 8. Jagddivision in Vienna. If a photo is not possible, then some kind of documentation showing his name would be appreciated. Any help welcome. Thanks.
