Hello,

Rickback thank you for the info about Josef Gehring.

I'm trying to locate the birthdates, -places and burial places of the whole crew. Can't find anything about those who were killed in VDK nor in Weltkriegsopfer.de.

"Hindernisberührung" means " hit an obstacle ".

If anybody has more info, thanks in advance.

VDK will mostly list men buried in military cemeteries, or military parts of cemeteries, or missing.

In most cases, airmen killed in training accidents in Germany are not listed by VDK, and I guess their bodies were returned to the family for private burial.
