Re: St.Kz. on a Klemm 35

Hi Merlin!

So very many thanks for the tip to "La Perthe." The first letter fooled me entirely,
I thought it must be a "R." But no.

Incidentally, after receiving your info, I inserted "La Perthe" in Google. Google found the location all right, but it turns out to hardly exist!!! Apparently a farmstead or manor close to Lailly, Dept. of Yonne. Photo shows beautiful rather level farmland today, must have been a Feldflugplatz in 1941?

For cbe2009, was Oblt. the Blugzeugführer or Begl. on this Kl 35 flight?

Thanks all, a few millimetres further along!!!

Hi,

The true location of La PErthe A/F is on the map on this link (up left side)

http://www.anciens-aerodromes.com/?p=24464

It is just between dpt of Aube (10) and Marne (51)

Re: St.Kz. on a Klemm 35

Hi again,

I have copied the whole page so you can see it.

I cannot read the pilots name on the way out.....flight 177, but he was the pilot on the return flight, No 178

Hope this adds one more millimeter to your work.

Cheers

Christian
