Fw. Peter Henying or Heuyng 15.5.43 9/KG4.

Hi, could anybody clarify the correct spelling of the above pilot MIA 15.5.43 with 9/KG4.
Also looking to confirm if known whether there was a pilot called Markl or Marte from the same unit during 1943. Flew with if it helps, Fw.Heinrich Schwatter.

Best regs,
Steve.

Re: Fw. Peter Henying or Heuyng 15.5.43 9/KG4.

According to my notes both NVM and EKM-list give Peter Heuyng, but for some reason DRK Vermisstenbildliste says Heuying.

Cannot recognize Markl, Marte of Heinrich Schwatter. Not involved in any crash.

Matti

Re: Fw. Peter Henying or Heuyng 15.5.43 9/KG4.

Heuying ought to be the correct spelling. Nazi town major of Krefeld was Aloys Heuying.
Heuyng is anything but not a German name

Post Re: Fw. Peter Henying or Heuyng 15.5.43 9/KG4.

raise an objection
taken from the official website of krefeld:

Oberbürgermeister Dr. Alois Heuyng

and if they don't know, who does?

in the other case, the loss list "Kampfgeschwader 4 - General Wever" say‘s:

Fw. HENYING Peter 15.05.1943 9./4 vermisst

but nothing to "Markl" or "Marte" and "Schwatter" ...

regards
ghost
