hello, everybody,

I'm looking for information about the crash after air combat of:

me 410 b-2/u4
werknr. 710339
crew: pilot lt volkmar schulze-bauer and radio operator fw siegfried seefeld
date: 20.06.1944

especially the crash site would be interesting ...

may I ask about the source, because there are two different crash days ...
and the 21.06.44 is doubted by the descendants!?

In the book Messerschmitt 210/410 an illustrated production history by Petrick/Stocker the date 30 June 1944 is mentioned.
I have changed their date to 20 June and added the crew names which means this topic has been aired before and my guess is that Matti Salonen or some other "ace" on TOCH has given the 20th from NVM

The NVM seems to clearly indicate that the date is June 20th 1944. There is some confusion on the NVM as there is a note that says 21st but that seems to be corrected to June 20th. The loss area also matches with June 20th mission.
