Visits in Germany

Gents
In the pre-war time, representatives of various air forces visited Germany. Sometimes they were flying aircraft of their inventory. Is there anything about such visits, and are there any photographs showing eg. British, French or Polish airmen in Me 109?

Finns too. Captain Gustaf Magnusson spend two months at JG 132 in 1938 and was the first Finn to flew the Messerschmitt. There's a report made after the visit at Finnish National Archive.

Re: Visits in Germany

OK, gents, but are there any articles or photos of those events? I would expect them to be covered by press.

Re: Visits in Germany

Hi Franek,

there are articles on that topic in the magazines called "die Luftwehr". (Mainly dealing with the air arms of foreign countries).

Regards
Holger

Thanks Holger. Any details on those magazines? A quick google search provided no results.
