Question Lockheed P-38 Serial Numbers

I know that from Missing Aircrew Reports (MACRs) that the P-38 had eight serial numbers, one for the a/c, one for each Allison engine, and one for each of the five guns. I know that the a/c serial number was on a data plate located in the cockpit. Does anyone know the exact location of the data plates/serial numbers for the Allison engines, 20mm cannon, and .50 cal. machine guns? I am working with several French research contacts who are excavating several P-38 crash sites. This would be helpful information if we knew exactly where to look if we located any of these items. Thanks in advance.

Cheers, Gary
