USS Juneau Discovered
Hello
The light cruiser USS Juneau has been discovered by Paul Allan and his team. The ship was lost during the Battle of Guadalcanal on 13 November 1942 after being torpedoed by the Japanese submarine I-26. 687 men were lost with the ship, including the five Sullivan brothers, many due in large part as the rest of the task force did not stop to recover survivors and these were forced to remain in the water for some eight days after which only 10 were still alive. https://www.paulallen.com/uss-juneau...ivan-brothers/ Horrido!
