Co de Swart is an unknown quantity at this point
accesibility of this forum

I agree with Huib Ottens ( see 28 dec.) about lesser accessibility of this open forum since the 'update' and the missing of an 'open vieuw' of subjects ans reactions.

Takes a while to get used to, but as we found on the WIX forum, it turns out to be more practical and the good thing is that a subject doesn't get 'lost' , as any reply brings it back to the fore front for further comment.

Dave

Its not LESS accessable, I'd even argue that its FAR MORE accessable than the old board ever was. Yes it takes some getting used to, but apart from the expanded thread view, there are so many more features available that I doubt you will think the same in a couple of weeks (other than in a Romantic way).

The open thread view is gone forever, but much of the current layout is still under review, depending on wishes and my persoal capability to adjust the present code.

A few tips to get more out of the board.

- log in when you enter the forum
- tick "Log me on automatically each visit" if you dislike doing so every time you visit
- learn the meaning of the forum symbols (listed below each forum)
- once you have logged in you can clearly see new or expanded topics

- create a signature, profile (top of screen)

Signature:
This is a block of text that can be added to posts you make. There is a 100 character limit

Always attach my signature
tick YES

Now all your posts are auto signed.

As before, this community seems to function best when real names are used.

PS. I'd like to keep any discussions on the functioning of the new forum limited to: http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/viewtopic.php?t=8
