He 111 P4+DA and CQ+HA

Gentlemen,

I am looking for some additional info regarding these He 111's:

P4+DA, and CQ+HA

According to my knowledge, the P4+DA was from the Führunskette of the X. Fliegerkorps, and was in Budaörs airfield, Hungary, during the Yugoslav campaign.

The latter, the CQ+HA served as a VIP transport in the Luftflotte 4 in 1941(?)

Any info would be greatly appreciated,

Hey Czaba

Are you sure with the SKZ CQ + HA ???
In my list, I have found a Ju W 34 from A/B 121 with this SKZ.

Re: He 111 P4+DA and CQ+HA

Hi,

I have a CQ+QF in 1941 with Stab des Generaloberst Kurt Student, and CQ+VZ used for equipment testing. Both were H-6.

I have a P4+?? WNr 3873 destroyed near Agram 4 July 1941.

Nothing more at present, sorry!

Regards

David

Thanks, JoMe and David,

well, I'm pretty sure regarding the CQ+HA (not for 100% regarding the CQ, which were the small letters and a bit hard to read them)

I'll try to find more info (not too exciting stories, just tried to identify two planes from photos)

See you,

Hey David

CQ + QF is also wrong, this hole block was issued for Fi 156.

Re: He 111 P4+DA and CQ+HA

Hi,

Thanks for that, I have annotated my database that there may be a query on this code and I will endeavour to check it out when I can. I seem to recall that I have a photo of an He111 with this CQ+QF code but equally I could have pulled it from a wartime report which may have recorded it incorrectly. Are you saying that the CQ+VZ code is incorrect too - this I obtained from a totally different source and group of photos.

If you have any further info. I'd always be happy to have it!

Thanks and regards,

David
