Hi Guys

Both dates given for his first claim do not seem to be backed-up by any evidence(a published book itself is no evidence, in fact mistakes are often duplicated). The micro films are evidence for all his other confirmed claims, however they have not survived for LG1 for this period.
Moreover it would appear that the RAF had no enemy fighter related losses over Africa on either of these dates!

Wasn't sure I had the details for the Ilk loss in Apr-42 - but I did.

Christoph Linde & Bs Ogefr. Erich Erbe, , Heinkel Flzg.Werke Oranienburg in Apr-41
