Knoller C.II (Lohner) serie 19 question
Was the Knoller C.II (Lohner) serie 19 used after the war or was it realy that bad of a design.
I think it looks good for some reason. Rick |

Re: Knoller C.II (Lohner) serie 19 question
Rick
The vague answer is possibly. Hungary inherited 5 model 19 at the end of WW 1. I have no proof any of them were used, I think the few pilots at the time preferred other aircraft in the inventory Czeckoslovakia had one model 119 under repair in Prague at the same time frame and since it is preserved to this day, it is not impossible it was used for some time. Re: Knoller C.II (Lohner) serie 19 question
Vague is a good word for this type of plane . : )
Reason I ask is I have a model kit coming which I found at a good price finally . Any chance the 5 Hungary Knoller's were with the Red Hungary Units? I guess I can do what ever I wanted but would like to have it close as I can to being real. Thank you for your time. |
