Crash of Wellington HF-595 of 166 Sqn on July 03 1943 in Belgium
Hello,
I'm looking for additional information about the Wellington HF-595, AS-Y from 166 Squadron (Kirmington) shot down by a nightfighter (Wandam Siegfried from NJG5) over Belgium on the 03 of July 1943 (00:48Hrs). The aircraft crashed in Neerhespen near Landen. All crew got KIA and were buried in the allied cemetry of the German air base of Brustem (II/NJG1) Crewmembers were: S/L Cookson Arthur Allen 40894 F/S Clark james Crichton DFM 1343392 F/S Scarlett Wiliam.
