Well there are a few to choose from. All the following is from BCL vol 1. 11/12 May 1940 18 Sqdn - L8861 - cr nr Kanne (Limburg) 14 Km ENE of Tongeren, Belgium. 12 May 1940 15 Sqdn - L8847 - Cr at Borgharen (Limburg) between the river Maas and the Juliana Kanaal. 3 Km N of Maastricht, Holland. 15 Sqdn - L6911 - Cr nr Munsterbilzen (Limburg) 8 Km SSE of Genk, Belgium. 15 Sqdn - P6912 - Cr nr Genk, Belgium. 15 Sqdn - P6914 - Cr nr Genk, Belgium. 21 Sqdn - L8739 - Hit by flak and broke up cr at 2040hrs in the vicinity of Tongeren (Limburg) Belgium. 57 Sqdn - P6930 - Cr nr Vlijtingen (Limburg) 21 Km SE of Hasselt, Belgium. 107 Sqdn - L8733 - S/d over Belgium. 107 Sqdn - L8748 - "OM-K" - Force landed in Belgiumin an area still under allied control. 107 Sqdn - P4905 - S/d nr Bettenhoven (Liege) 25 Km WNW of Liege, Belgium. 107 Sqdn - P4914 - Cr nr Voroux-Goreux (Liege) 10 Km W of Liege, Belgium. 139 Sqdn - L9416 139 Sqdn - N6215 - S/d nr Lanaken (Limburg) Belgium. 139 Sqdn - N6216 - S/d nr Rekem (Limburg) on the W bank of the Maas, 25 Km E of Hasselt, Belgium. 139 Sqdn - N6219 139 Sqdn - N6229 139 Sqdn - P4826 - S/d nr Maastricht. 139 Sqdn - P4923 - S/d at Herstal-Rhées (Liege) at NE outskirts of Liege, Belgium. Hi Alex,
I am very interested in your findings on the Bristol Blenheim Engine Serial number. Did you find out an answer. My Grandfather ,Flying Officer William Henry Edwards DFC, was shot down on 12th May 1940 flying Bristol Blenheim IV P4905.
