Information concerning loss of Oberfeldwebel Karl Spengler

Hallo!

Can anyone provide details over the loss of Oberfeldwebel
Karl Spengler on the 10th December 1942?
He was killed in Action as a Flugzeugführer in a Kampfgeschwader(?)
in Sicilia.

Informatinon concerning loss Oberfw. Karl Spengler

Hallo!

Can anyone provide details over the loss of Oberfeldwebel Karl
Spengler,born 17.11.1913 in Krombach.
He was killed as a Flugzeugführer in a Kampfgeschwader(?) on
10.December 1942 in Sicilia,Gubini(?)

Ju88 A-14 144321 of 6/KG6 crashed on take-off and burnt out at Catenanouva by Gerbini Ff Ofw.Karl Spengler, Bf Uffz.Herbert Rauter, Bs Prfmstr.Theodor Gundlach all killed - source "Wir flogen gen Westen" the KG6 history by Jan Horn. NB the entry in the Luft.GQM loss lists shows aircraft as an A-4 and aircraft on a Feindflug,
