Do.17Z-2 W.Nr.3225 lost 28.8.40 4/KG3.

On this day Dornier 17Z-2 W.Nr 3225 was reported shot down by fighters during a sortie to attack Rochford ? 4 NCO's are recorded wounded, are their names known. Any help would be appreciated.

Best regs,
Steve.

Thanks Chris, I was rather hoping the NVM may have survived and some kind soul maybe willing to share the names if recorded.

Best regs,
Steve.

All the other NVMs for that day are there so perhaps they were not wounded

Re: Do.17Z-2 W.Nr.3225 lost 28.8.40 4/KG3.

Hello Steve,

Gen.Qu. loss report from 30 August 1940 No. 8:
28.8. 4./KG 3 Feindflug Ort: unbekannt, Ursache: Jägerbeschuss. Do 17 Z-2 3225 100%. 4 Verletzte.
In the correction from 25 January 1941 is listed: Streiche 4 Verletzte.

So it is confirmed, that on 28 August 1940 nobody of the crew was wounded.

Regards
Leo
