Looking for informatienummer on this Luftwaffe captain. Hauptmann Franziskus von Plettenburg Date of birth: september 27th 1914 Deceased: march 23 1968 Held the following Badges/medals: EKI EKII 4 years service medal Sudetenland medal Bulgarian bravery medal German Italian Afrika campain medal Woundbadge in Black Bulgarian pilotsbadge I have a picture of the guy but cant post pictures. Interesting.............he must be one of the handful of Lw. Hauptmänner that we (Doug Stankey and myself) haven't encountered yet in the documentation. We'll keep our eyes open for him. If you are able to obtain some information on Hptm. Franziskus von P., please let us know. Thanks!

The wrong birth date is given in the first post. He was born 29. july 1914.
Franz was short of Franziskus. PERS 6/158762 Plettenberg, Franz Graf von Bestandsbezeichnung Personalunterlagen von Angehörigen der Reichswehr und Wehrmacht Geburtsdatum 29.7.1914 Amtsbezeichnung/Dienstgrad Hauptmann Unterlagenart Personalakte Alte Signatur LP/25256 Benutzungsort Freiburg Junker
