Emergency landing seaplane 5/12/1943 at Wuustwezel
Hi,
In “ Wuustwezel en Loenhout in de Tweede Wereldoolog “ (Wuustwezel and Loenhout during World War II) by Guido van Wassenhoven (published in 1985) is mentioned that on 5/12/1943 a German twin-engined seaplane made an emergency landing in a meadow at Wuustwezel,Belgium (near Molenbergen). The crew was unharmed and the plane was collected by the Germans a few days later. Was this a He115 ? Any information regarding the unit and crew available ? Many thanks and best regards, Luc
