Confirmation of staffel for KG53 loss 19.5.40.

Hi as the title suggests im seeking the staffel for this KG53 loss
owing to conflicting data.
Ff. Fw H. Pollath,
Bo. Ofw. Alois Link,
Bf. Gefr. H.Schmidt,
Bm. Fw. Ludwig Mauter,
Gefr. Erhard Gabler.

Peter Cornwall and Michael Balss suggests 7/KG53 while Kiehl in his KG53 book gives 9/KG53 which matches with data i have from another source.
Any help would be most welcome in clarifying the correct staffel.

Conflicts in crew positions aside, as reported in Gillet in "Les Victoires de L'Aviation de Chasse Francaise II", p.63 & 189, the crew names were F Ofw. Alois Link, Bf Gefr. Heinz Schmidt, Bm Fw. Ludwig Mauter, Bs Fw. Hans Pöllath & H.Sch. Gefr. Erhard Gabler.

Morning Jim thank you for your reply and information from Gillet's book, this particular issue i dont have.
Very interesting take on the crew positions which i have noted.
Were there indication of any a/c markings in his book at all please.
