Hello! For me it seems a Fw 190 A-8 or A-9 from JG 301 ( blue white blue tai stripe: Reich Defense Service ). You can check on www.jg300.de the losses for the years 1943, 44 and 45. It seems that the number 13 is yellow or brown. I had the losses on Jg 300 but am unable now to check for you a loss on Giessem arera. I read about major combat and losses on 9 September or 29 September 1944 ( had to check later ). But try this way...
Cheers Adriano

Weiße 13 from 5.Sturm/JG 4 ?......the 3 shape looks just like several 3's within the Sturmgruppe. look on page 34 of Eric Mombeeks Sturmjäger volume 2. lower pic of white 13.

many of the Sturm machines did not "wear" a second gruppe bar during the war.

I would tend to agree with Erich, Definatly not a Dora as there is no fuselage lengthening plug. On the outside it could be a Sturmstaffel 1 A series...But in looking at this I can't make out a small White border line on the Outside edges of the Geschwader ID Band that is Black White Black. SS1 Bird's had a thin white edge line on either side of the fuselage band, And also I cant see any armour plating in cockpit area which leads me to beleive this is a JG4 Aircraft.
So I say JG4 A series FW, Definatly not a Dora.

I wish I had Mombeeks Sturmjäger book! I will as soon as released in the English Language...I Cant Wait!!!! Save up the $$$ for it's release in the near future.
