Ofw. Josef Wagner, + 26.07.44 SE of Jankowo?

Good evening!
I have two very sharp photos from a cemetary in Russia. In there is a picture of an Ofw. in flying clothes with the above mentioned name.

In "Gräbersuche" it says Jankowo, but in my pictures it says Jaworowo! Is that the same?
Does anyone know more about this Ofw.? I cannot find anything in my own material.
A very long shot perhaps, but hopefully someone can help.
Best wishes
Christian

I do not think that you find this place in Russia. Judging by date it must have been in Poland. It could be in Ukraine now, though.
