Bronc, those figures appear plausible. In general many books on German aircraft are woefully sparse on details on handling. I find it most perverse that even expensive and large monographs on German aircraft (in English) often rely on the old and much repeated comments by Eric Brown. One wonders that didn't German test pilots write any handling reports at all. Or didn't Luftwaffe require proof of airworthiness? Just recently I read Don Armstrong's book. He was a test pilot for the Super Corsair. The book has an excerpt from the a document indicating that USN required e.g. testing of snap rolls and recovery from them. Yet I have never seen a German report describing snap rolls of the Bf 109 or Fw 190.
