Hartmann Grasser 3./JG152 Bf109D-1 markings?
I have been researching this topic, and have found these 3 pics from that unit (attached).
The caption on the first photo reads "Leutnant Grasser next to its Bf109D". If this is suggesting it is his a/c, then I'm not so sure this is correct. I suspect the a/c in the 3 pics is the same - and I suspect it is GrK Karl-Heinz Leesemann's (various spellings of this name exist). Any thoughts on this. If it is Leesemann's a/c, does anyone have information on what markings Grasser's a/c carried? Grasser was shot down on 24/9/39 and had to force land in a Bf109D-1 - is there any information available about this aircraft? Thanks Peter Last edited by PMoz99; 1st April 2018 at 17:22.
