BoB: 603 Sqn during 23rd nov 1940 italian raid

Hi

I was investigating how many spitfire of the 603 Sqn intercepted the raid of 29 CR42 Falco over Folkestone (23rd nov 1940) during the BoB.

Many sources related this event but none said the number of involved spitfire.

I apreciate any help.

Thank you in advance

Martin

Hello,

Norman Franks in "Battle of Britain - The Forgotten Months" states they scrambled all 12 Spitfires.

Best wishes/Håkan

Hi,
I think that "Battle of Britain - The Forgotten Months" was by John Foreman not Norman Franks.

Happy New Year
