Blindflugschule 34 loss on 15 December 1944
According to the Luftwaffe loss list in the North of the SIG Norway, on 15 December 1943 the Ju 88 A-4 WNr 884684 of Blindflugschule 34 was a 100% loss in a crash south of Tonder, Denmark, after running out of fuel. No casualty is reported for this aircraft.
But this loss is not listed by Soren Flensted on his extensive website about the air war over Denmark. Actually, as Tonder is just some km north of the Danish-German border, south of Tonder probably means that the crash occured in Germany rather than in Denmark. Can anyone provide the crashplace of this aircraft, or at least confirm this loss on this date ? Thanks in advance |

Re: Blindflugschule 34 loss on 15 December 1944
Laurent,
I can confirm the crash at that date and location but the WNr. has a typo, the correct one was 4648.
