Starting with the Junkers production (and assuming Peter is correct) the last built Junkers 87 C was
0870573. Counting backwards and deleting the five built C we then get the final B (0870568), assuming
the RLM file also counted K-2 as B
Again counting backwards deducting 367 B-2/B-1 we then get at least a hypothetical first Junkers B built
as 0870201

Is it possible Junkers built 200 A-model and that the Ju 87 B production started at 0870201?

Continuing with Weser, I confess my data is a mess!
Without knowing the exact production of their R-2/R-4 I am stuck, since that production seems interwoven
with standard B versions.

My Weser production starts with 0875078 (but I have put ?? after 0875070 - 77 since they have both
been reported as A-1 and B-1.
My last Weser built Ju 87B/R is 0876446 where sub-type is given. One snippet I found says production
continued all the way up to 0877069.

Over to you guys. I am just the amateur here.....

Me too, when it comes to the Ju 87.

I think we also have to remove the V21 to V25 from the list, the prototypes for the Ju 87 D = 0536, 0538, 0540, 0542 and 0544.

I found the number of 195 Ju 87 manufactured, for which Junkers had agreed fixed prices (RM 97.000,-) with the RLM from 10/36 to 3/38. Could be the Ju 87 A, right?

I have always listed them as Junker 87 B that were re-engined/modified after being built. Perhaps that
was not so?

If they were intended to be prototypes for the D-model all along, then I agree with your thinking and they
should be deducted, making 08700196 the first Junkers built 87 B.
However JoMe has previously stated

WNr.0196 was Ju87A-1, Ju-Bernburg, 23-28.06.38 (Bernburg, Einfliegen) - FB Steckhan", where I assume
Steckhan was some kind of test-pilot with Junkers and flew the machine at the dates in question.

To achieve the required numbers, starting instead at 0870197 we have to add one WNr after the five C-1s,
ie 0870574. Would that be possible?
(I hope I got all the digits right...remember I never finished school.... )

The prototypes for the D were assembled from large components from the Ju 87 B: wings, fuselages etc, they didn't previously exist as Ju 87 B.

Steckhan was not a test pilot in the strict sense. He carried out flights with the new production aircraft, that came off the assembly line. ("Serien-Einflieger"). He also made acceptance flights. I have copies of his flight logs, but his information is not always credible.

Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the exact figures.

But we are still stuck with "the odd man out". Could it be that there is a counting error in the
official figure?
