Looking for ORB 22OTU
Dear Members,
I'm looking for the ORB of the 22OTU. This because I have some course pictures and only surnames but hope to find their serial numbers so I know who are on this pictures. Maybe I can find them in this OTU. Does someone know if this is available at the National Archives or somewhere else? I will use this to give some airman who served with this OTU a face on findagrave.com Thank you all in advance for your help. Vincent |

Re: Looking for ORB 22OTU
It is at the National Archives under AIR 29/666
It has not been digitised so you are going to have to go in person to see it The comments section says that there are numerous photos of pupils and staff that went through the OYU. I have not seen these myself Martin |

Re: Looking for ORB 22OTU
Morning. I have the 22 OTU ORB up to Jan 1943. Sadly there are no lists of aircrew with service numbers. The only exception is when some crews were sent out on a attack or Nickelling exercise in France.

Re: Looking for ORB 22OTU
Such information is usually found in the Appendices if they still exist and if this was unit policy. For example 96 Sqn is very detailed down to the lowest rank

Re: Looking for ORB 22OTU
I have the whole ORB. About 700 pages. No appendices, I'm afraid.
This site has been helpful.http://www.aviationarchaeology.org.u...n_of_22otu.htm Regards, Dave |
