Major Heinz Schumann
Trying to find out where Major Heinz Schumann, Stab Schlachtgeschwader 10 crashed on november 11 1943. Some give near Bastogne others in Guirsch near Arlon. The card from the Wast gives b. Arlons (?) a d. Maas/Belgien. I can't find Arlons.

He was killed 8 not 11 Nov 43. VDK has no location apart from he is buried at Champigny. I have the NVM here somewhere but seen to remember it was vague. What about the death cards via Fold 3?

Yes, Junker, but that is the problem, there is no Arlons a/Maas IMO.

I guess it could be Arlon near Athus-Maas-Linie.

Aarlen is on the Semois wich is a side river of the Maas. So perhaps there is the confussion.
