Haupt. Josef Regler, 9./KG 76 March 1945

Hi,

I'm seeking information of combat career of Haupt. Josef Regler. He flew a Ar 234 B-2, F1+MT, W.Nr. 140173, serving in 9./KG 76, March 1945.

Which the fate of Haupt. Regler?

Thank's,

Franklin

Hello Franklin!
I think you are seeking Hauptmann Regler, Staffelkapitän 9./KG 76. He was shot down near Jülich with the F1+MT at 22/02/45, 5.35 p.m., maybe by Lt. David B. Fox (366. FS with P-47), but Regler survived and came back to german lines. The Arado (20% damaged) was captured by british troops.

Thank's a lot for correction, mr. Heuser!

Haupt. Regler survived the war?

Cheers,
Franklin

Hello again!
Sorry for my incomplete first posting!
Hauptmann Regler died 21/03/45 after a mission to Antwerpen by crash with Ar 234 B-2, F1+ET, Werk.Nr. 140598 in Osterbeck. The reason is unknown.
