Uffz. Ferri Matkowitsch, Fw 190 pilot in JG 3 'Udet', shot down in Hungary in March 1945
Does anyone have details on the demise of Uffz. Ferri Matkowitsch (actual spelling might be slightly different), Fw 190 pilot in JG 3 'Udet', shot down in Hungary in March 1945?
Thanks,

If he flew a Fw 190 with JG 3 'Udet', he must have been with the IV. Gruppe. However, according to ww2.dk the IV./JG 3 was nowhere near Hungary in March 1945. So, if he was shot down there, he was probably with some other unit?

I quoted a Soviet POW interrogation report. He might have given false data, if he had courage...
