III. / ZG 26 Wunstorf 20. February 1944
Hi,
looking for all Information`s about the "Black Sunday" of the III. / ZG 26 from Wunstorf. 11 BF-110 G2 were shooting down by P-47 Thunderbolt 56.th FG / 61. FS. Most of the BF-110 went down in the vicinity of the Wunstorf Area. Every Help is welcome, especially to the Crewmembers of: OFw. Erwin Brendle gef. Fw. Norbert Längle gef. Uffz. Herbert Nolting gef. + another 3 where the crews bailed out unhurt and another 3 bellied, crew also unhurt.

Thank`s a lot for these Info`s. I wonder that some BF-110 should be went down in the Goslar Area... if you check the P-47 Claims 20.02.44 from 56 FG / 61 FS they talking about Steinhuder Meer and Hannover. Greetings streak98 |
