I.ZG76 April/mai 40
An ofw Neureiter made a forcedlanding due to motor shortfall in an iced lake in Norway end april or beg. of mai 40, by this occasion his rottenführer Ltn Eckard stay 6 h 40 in flight to cover him, who has the right date nd some more data ??

Remi: Where did you get the fact that Eckardt cirlced him? Eckardt's BF was Neureiter and I have no evidence that there were 2 with the same name in ZG 76. I believe that the incident occurred 26 May 40 at Snorkijaure

Reading the german I made the same mistake as Salonen, here is what I thought
2 I ZG76 F Upmasjaure Narvik b, N Mausfall FJ BF110D-0 3154 NO+DS 100 The story come from the Jägerblatt "Nach 4.5 Stunden fl.zeit kehren alle Bf110 bis Ltn Eckardt und Ofw Neureiter, Banges warten..." He was circling above is Rottenführer, so not an Ofw, who forcelanded due to Engine troubles I don't hv any losses for the 26.mai, but the one above for the 24. + 2 others for the 29.th in Skanland.. Neureiter flew in Irak not as a pilot, but not Eckardt Remi
