170499 Ju 188 A-2 3E+PH I/KG 6 (Luftwaffe)
Found dismantled for repairs (was jacked up in an open blast-pen, with one wing missing but other Jumo 213 A-1 engine still alongside) but looted, at Brussels/Melsbroek Airfield, Belgium, in late autumn of 1944 (before 10.10.44) - Was dumped (jack removed some time after, breaking the horizontal tail, <one> photo caption 07.10.44)

Post #4493It looks very much alike WNr. 175140 captured at Melsbroek, but it is parked in 'normal' position whilst 175140 was captured on numerous photos as flipped on the nose, and reported as destroyed "when a boobytrapped 250 kilogram bomb buried under its engine exploded while it was being moved by American troops expanding the runway in mid-October 1944". Interesting...

It was W.Nr. 175140 from Melsbroek. Here is another photos from a horizontal position
