Cpt Adamina Robert E
Cpt Adamina Robert E from the 78FG-82FS became POW on may 14th 1943 flying his P-47 serial number 41-6198. It seems that he came down or crashed near the Belgian coast , is this correct ?

Re: Cpt Adamina Robert E
Hello Alain 57,
He Ditched in the sea off Belgium in MX-D, following a dog fight near Antwerp. Also lost were - Samuel R. Martinek in HL-T who bailed 10 m NW of Knocke, Belgium. Elmer E. McTaggart who evaded throiugh Spain, he was in HL-C. Jack S. Sandmeier was not as lucky as he bailed from MX-S en route to Rotterdam due to engine trouble and was last seen in his dinghy. ASR never found him. Eagles of Duxford by Garry Fry Alex |
