Squadron Identification III / Lehrgeschwader 2

Hi,

who can be helpful regarding the squadron IDs for the III Group of the Lehrgeschwader 2 in 1940.

I'm still looking for the identifier for III / (F) Stab L2 + -? and 8. (F) L2 + -?
The identifier for the 7th (F) LG 2 was L2 + -R.

any help is welcome !!!

Hello streak98,

the Stab III./LG 2 was probably disbanded in August 1939 and the 8.(F)/LG 2 was redesignated in 3.(F)/Ob.d.L. in Oct 1939. So Stab III./LG 2 and 8.(F)/LG 2 didn’t exist in 1940.

Thanks for these Informations regarding the Unit... LG2.
This Squadron was not really famos like LG1... so the Info`s about it are very rare...
