Re: Luftwaffe Units bombing Pembroke Dock on 11/12 May 1941

Andy,

This from Lagebericht Nr 612

Annex 5 to Situation Report No. 612 of 13.5.1941.

Addendum to Situation Report No. 611 of 12.5.1941:
During the night of 12.5.1941, in addition to the combat operations
No.611 the following attacks were carried out:

A) Pembroke harbour facilities:
01:05 to 01:59 14 warplanes attacked the target with 4 SC 250,
22 Bomben B and 576 incendiary bombs from altitudes between
1700 and 2400 m.

The effects were a larger fire in the western part of the target area at 01:40 hrs, a stronger detonation in the middle of the harbour facilities at 02:00 hrs, and a number of smaller fires in the target area and to the east. As good hits were seen in the harbour facilities and the part of the city to the east of them, a lasting effect can be assumed.

Hope that this is of help.
