At this stage, no human remains were found in that crashplace. But guys are still digging.
Also, very close to it, another 110G was found, this time from I./ZG1, shot down on 02.06.43. |

Hello Matti!
The pilot Ofw. Otto Elz (23.06.1913) was taken prisoner. The observer and radio operator, going down on parachutes, were shot by machine-gun fire the Russian soldiers. Kind regards, Oleg |

Interesting thread. In my humble opinion, access to Soviet archives should allow to complete a lot of German losses where the aircraft and crew are just listed as missing in Luftwaffe losses list, just as in this case.
