Ju 86 / 0237

Hi all

I found an illegible code for the Ju86 / 0237 in a flight log.
Presumably it is a machine that was sold abroad.
Does anyone know the code of this particular Ju?
Thank you in advance

JoMe

Re: Ju 86 / 0237

Hello Jochen,

the 0237 was one of four JU 86 Z-7 flown by the "Lloyd Aéreo Boliviano":
860013 Illimani
860234 Mariscal Santa Cruz
860237 General Perez
860240 Mariscal Sucre.
Codes are not known.
Details are in the website www.lloydaereobolivianofriends.com

Regards
Leo

Re: Ju 86 / 0237

This is not a code, thats the engine Pratt & Whitney Hornet S1 E-G. The term appears in some Junkers documents. This is apparently the export name for the engines.

But interesting interpretations here.
