Loss of Ju 88A-4, 1145, 9K+ZR, 7./KG 51, 4 Apr 43
This aircraft was flown by the St Kap of 7./KG 51, Hptm Joachim Sommer. Target was PlQ 76895. It crashed on the western edge of Kijewskoje (Kaliningrad) in the afternoon of the above date killing all 4 crew. Can anyone say the reason for its loss-I am presuming Flak as no mention of fighters is made in the III./KG 51 KTB

Hello, just a little correction, there are several places called Kijewskoje in German (see https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kijewskoje) and a combat loss in April 1943 for 7./KG 51 was probably near the one located in Kuban rather than in East Prussia.
