303 IAD 18 GIAP- pilot identification
Hi there!
Anybody can recognize who was a pilot of this Yak-3 in early 1945?? And where the base was located at this time?? Last edited by Lucass; 11th November 2020 at 18:24. |

This photo is very popular, but I havn't met any of it's identification, that could be accepted as reliable. In my opinion it is about 90% that it's February-March 1945 and the field is Mertensdorf (50 km SE of Kenigsberg). If it's April, the field is Heillingebeil.
