Lt Schmalen Gerhard 5./NJG3
Lt Schmalen Gerhard from 5./NJG3 became a POW when he was shot down sout-east of Brussels on a interdiction sortie during the night of 31 december1944. Wich Ju-88 was he flying and what happened with his crew ?

Source: Namentliche Verlustmeldung ADI(K) No. 114/1945 RL2-III-1171/9. Ps. it was noted that Lt. Schmalen was Staffelführer for 5./NJG3. |
