Hurricane losses vs japanese claims

Hello,

do you have info about hurricane losses of:

261st Squadron 13,02,43 Donbaik north of Akyab
135th Squadron 02,03,43
607th Squadron 02,03,43
135th Squadron 14,03,43 Donbaik, near Maungdaw

in combat with 64th Sentai...
but i don´t know if there were more involved...

kind regards

Assuming that these Operations Record Books survive, you can download them free from the National Archives at the moment: https://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/...tal-downloads/

Re: Hurricane losses vs japanese claims

If you already have Chris Shores' Air War for Burma (Grubstreet Publishing 2005) I would recommend Hiroshi Ichimura's book Ki-43 'Oscar' Aces of World War 2 (Osprey 2009) which has claims and Japanese losses of the 64th Sentai in some detail.
