T-38 crashes in Texas
RANDOLPH AIR FORCE BASE, Texas (AFNEWS) -- An Air Force T-38 Talon crashed at about 12:45 p.m. 22.February approximately 12 miles south of Hondo, Texas. The aircraft was assigned to the 12th Flying Training Wing here. The aircraft was performing a training mission. The pilot safely ejected and is being transported to Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, for evaluation. A board of officers will be appointed to investigate the accident. Additional details will be provided as they become available.
