Recovered WW2 Luftwaffe engines
In Oct. 2001, 13 DB, BMW, and Jumo engines were found buried and recovered from the South side of Frankfurt's Rhein-Main Airport.
Did anyone record the Werknummern and/or manufacturer's three-letter codes from any of these engines? Thank you in advance for you help in this matter. Steve Sheflin |

Re: Recovered WW2 Luftwaffe engines
IIRC, those details were not recorded or made public at that time.
I don't know, if they were published later.
