Mosquito pilot Bullus 68 squadron

Hi guys

Can anyone advise me of the nationality of Mosquito pilot Flt Sgt A (Anton?) Bullus who flew with 68 Squadron in 1944? I assumed he was Czech, since the unit had a Czech Flight, but apparently not so.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers
Brian

Re: Mosquito pilot Bullus 68 squadron

Hi Brian,

I have checked a several sources and of course Czechoslovak official list of our airmen in RAF but this or similar name didn´t find. He was probably a Commonwealth man from B Flight.

Regards,
Michal

Alfred BULLUS

NCO Serial Number: 189664
Officer Serial Number: 1437051

I am 99.9% sure he was English and his father was a Postman from Birmingham

Re: Mosquito pilot Bullus 68 squadron

Many thanks Ross and Paul - problem solved.

Incidentally, from my research I would suggest that the 68 Squadron history, as shown on the website, is incomplete (as is the ORB from which it was extracted).

Cheers
Brian
