Help with German Hauptmann's name - back of photo

Good morning to all members.

Can someone help me identifying the Hauptmann's name behind that photograph?

It is said to be a Stuka airman and he was coming from his 300th sortie, which leads me to believe this "may be" Hauptmman Friedrich Lorenz, later KIA.

The first letter "looks like" an L for me.

Any assistance to identify the man's name is most welcomed.

A.

I read: "Ehrung v. Hptm. Laufs bei seinem 300. Einsatz"

Hello Adriano,

think the text is as follows: Ehrung von Hauptmann Lorenz bei .....

Ehrung means Honor

Hauptmann Friedrich Lorenz, Staffelkapitän 1./StG 1, KIA 17.07.1943 near Mzensk - Russia. Knight's Cross post mortem 31.07.1943

Stay healthy

Fred

As soon as I fix my other laptop (with Photoshop) I shall add the front picture here.

Sadly it may take some time or a new computer.

Hello Adriano,

the name is Leicht, neither Lorenz nor Laufs.
Hptm Helmut Leicht awarded the Knight’s Cross on 3 Sep 1942 as Hptm and StKpt of 2./StG 77 after 400 sorties. On 26 June 1944 as Major and Gruppenkommandeur of III./SG 10 he was listed as missing in action after 900 missions.

Regards
Leo

Hallo LEO,

This is new information and am grateful for your kind answer and support here, in identifying correctly the name. The photo was taken from some distance, it is not a close photograph, but as soon as I fix my computer problem (guess I shall need a new one), I shall be able to scan properly the Hauptmann's face...so we can have an idea.

What I can assure is that he is NOT wearing the RK yet...so it can fit either to Lorenz or Leicht. StG 77 make sense since the seller had other photographs of this unit selling.

My deepest gratitude LEO.

Baumgartner

Viele Danke Rasmussen...

Probably, as informed by Leo, it may be Leicht....at first I thought it ressembled Lorenz...but there seems to be a point indicating an "i" on the name.
