Josef Rohde, +23. Aug. 1943 in Russia Unit and couse of death?
Found this pic in an auction just this week and courious which unit Josef Rohde served and also couse of death would be interesting.
I didnt won the auction and therefore this is just a copy of the Internet page of the auction. Thaks in advance Rolf

Ahhh... but I have seen the holy grail! And it is painted RLM 76 all over with a large Mickey Mouse on the side, there is a familiar pilot in front of it and it has an Erla Haube!

Hi Andreas,
According to the career summaries Luftwaffe Officers Oblt. Rohde was wia on 5 july 1943. Hit by AA-fire and crash-landed near Senkova. What happend to his BS? Was he unhurt and if not do you perhaps know his name? Thanks a lot. Kind regards. Dirk
