Question Anyone know what these strange Luftwaffe objects are?

These strange items sold on ebay recently.

They are from a UK schoolboy's Blitz shrapnel collection - but what are they?

The lettering 'B2' appears on the cylinder object with a slot in the top - the B2.2 was a type of Luftwaffe incendiary bomb, but it bears no resemblance to this ordnance.

The items sold for a whopping £124.00 - so someone clearly knows what they are.

B or E ?

The letter painted in white on the cylinder could be an ugly E.

Have a close look maybe.

Re: Anyone know what these strange Luftwaffe objects are?

The can has what appears to be a "pull-off" top, so a one time use item. Perhaps an item from a survival kit? Are we positive that its even Luftwaffe related?
Could be anything from a can of beer, a can of oil or anything else in between.
